Diane Smith-Gander

Diane Smith-Gander has, over a successful twenty five year business career, focused her energies on situations where major change is needed – bringing a blend of strategic thought and operational experience to enable effective execution.

She is a Non-Executive Director of Wesfarmers Limited, Transfield Services Limited, CBH Group Limited and Deputy Chairperson of NBN Co Limited – the government entity responsible for broadbanding Australia. Diane also sits on the University of Western Australia Business School Advisory Board and is a Commissioner of WA Tourism.

She is the chair of the People and Performance committee for NBNCo, a member of the Implementation Committee and a member of the HR Committee and the Health Safety Environment and Quality Committee for Transfield Services. She is a member of the Audit Committee for Wesfarmers.

Diane also works on an adhoc basis in Asia with McKinsey & Company advising on merger integration and is a special advisor to Barrington Consulting based in Perth.

Narelda Jacobs

Narelda Jacobs is the co-presenter of Perth’s 5pm News on Ten.  Narelda has been a journalist at Network Ten for 12 years and is Australia’s first indigenous female news anchor for a commercial network. She loves her home town of Perth, with the world’s warmest people and best lifestyle. Her on air profile has given Narelda the opportunity to motivate young people across Perth to accept their social responsibilities.

Narelda is an Ambassador for Breast Cancer Care WA, the David Wirrpanda Foundation and Disabilities Services Commission. She’s a patron of the Motor Neurone Disease Assoc WA and is also patron of a specialised program for indigenous students at Balga Senior High School.
