About Jasmin

I have recently completed my degree at Curtin University in a BA Humanities Double Major in Public Relations and Journalism.  As I am now aspiring to become a professional in the public relations workforce, I am very keen to gain hands on experience working with the team at VIA Appia Networking WA.

Event Management has always been an interest of mine, and I have found that Public Relations work hand in hand with that.  I have good organisational skills and I work well in a team environment, attributes I feel are necessary for this industry.

Since completing my degree, I have completed two internships. The first internship I completed was at West TV (Channel 44) where I was a TV Reporter, and the second at Woodside (An oil and gas Company) where I worked in their Corporate Communications Department, helping out with events which I thoroughly enjoyed.

I have learnt that gaining hands on experience is the best way to learn new skills and be able to show potential employees what you are capable of.

I am really excited to work with the Via Appia Networking Team to enhance these skills to provide me with a good foundation into this industry.
