Networking WA is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Fermoy Estate. Located in Wilyabrup, the heart of the Margaret River wine region Fermoy has been producing premium wines since 1988, making it one of the region’s oldest wineries. Since the first vines were planted in 1985 Fermoy Estate has established itself as an innovative leader in the world-renowned Margaret River wine region.

Fermoy Estate has experienced dynamic growth since 1988’s 120 case first vintage. It now produces more than 30,000 cases of wine and 350 tonnes of grapes annually. The growth of the winery and indeed the region itself has led to the Estate incorporating a function centre and accommodation into its ever-growing list of accomplishments. Currently under the supervision of head winemaker, Liz Dawson, Fermoy is producing export quality wines that are making waves in Europe and Asia.

In June 2010 Fermoy’s Semillon Sauvignon Blanc was selected in the top three Semillon Sauvignon Blancs in Western Australia alongside Moss Wood and Vasse Felix. The estate is also consistently praised year after year in James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion. In this year’s companion ten Fermoy wines have received acclaimed including the 2009 Fermoy Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon which received a staggering 96 points.

Via Appia Networking WA are pleased to welcome Fermoy Estate as a wine sponsor.
